What is Performance Contracting?

Performance Contracting is a negotiated agreement between the Board of Governors of Maasai Mara Technical & Vocational College and the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Education. It sets measurable targets for academic quality, service delivery, financial stewardship and governance.

Targets are aligned to the College Strategic Plan and are independently evaluated each year. Under the national framework, a lower composite performance score indicates superior institutional performance.

  • Negotiated Accountability A formal agreement between the Board of Governors and the Government of Kenya through the Ministry of Education.
  • Measurable Targets Clear, time-bound indicators aligned to our Strategic Plan and national TVET priorities.
