Admissions
You can apply online through the MMTVC Apply Now portal or via KUCCPS for government-sponsored placement. Visit Admissions for intake dates, required documents and step-by-step guidance.
MMTVC typically runs January, May and September intakes. Check the Admissions page or Academic Calendar for the latest open intakes and closing dates.
Programmes
It depends on the programme.
Level 6 programmes generally take approximately 2½ years.
Level 5 programmes generally take approximately 1½ years.
Level 4 programmes take between 6 months and 1 year depending on the programme.

Fees & Financial Aid
Yes. Eligible students can apply for HELB financing. Visit the HELB Help Desk in the Admissions Office for free guidance on applications, disbursement timelines and required documentation.
The fee structure is published on our Fees & Financial Information page. It is a general fee structure aligned with government guidelines. For programme-specific queries, contact the Finance Office.
Yes. We have a HELB Help Desk in the Admissions Office that helps you apply for Financial Aid for free.
Yes. Discuss a payment plan with your Head of Department so you can settle fees in installments without missing important services. Keep official receipts for every payment.
Accommodation
Yes, though spaces are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Liaise with the Office of the Dean of Students for availability and application guidance.
Yes. Many students live in vetted off-campus housing around the College. The Office of the Dean of Students can share guidance on common areas and safety considerations.
Student Life
MMTVC offers sports, Christian Union, student leadership, innovation projects and cultural activities. Visit Student Life for current clubs and how to join.
Library & BUKU
Start on the MMTVC E-Library page for access guidance, then open buku.app or the Android/iPhone app. Choose Login via your Institute, search for Maasai Mara Technical and Vocational College, and sign in with your institutional email and password.
Library hours are typically Monday–Friday 8:00am–8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm. Confirm current hours at the Library Desk or on the Library page.
Digital Services
Use the portal “Forgot password” option if available, or contact ICT Support with your admission/staff number and institutional email for a secure reset.
Institutional emails are issued after registration. Visit ICT Support with your admission details if your account has not been activated.
Graduation
Graduation dates are announced through official college channels. Check News & Events and follow MMTVC social platforms for the confirmed schedule.
Graduands typically complete academic, finance, library and departmental clearance. The Registrar’s Office publishes the clearance checklist each graduating cohort.
Examinations
Confirm your examination timetable, venue and any instructions shared by your department or the Examination Office. Prepare using your course materials and arrive early on the assessment day.
Bring a valid student identification document and any materials expressly permitted for that assessment. Leave unauthorised items outside the examination room as directed.
Contact your department and the Examination Office as soon as possible. Guidance depends on the examining body and College procedures for that assessment.
Results are communicated through official College channels and, where applicable, the examining partner. Check notices, your department and the student portal for updates.
Certificates are issued according to the examining partner and College clearance processes. Ask the Examination Office or your department for the current collection or issuance steps.
